Puppy Parade!!!
It was my little girl's 3rd Birthday on Sunday and wanting to still social distance, I decided to put on a Puppy Parade! The logistics were simple. And I saw this done on a social media page in my old neighborhood. All you do is invite your community to walk their dog past your house on the predetermined day. I had this sign on my front lawn for a few days leading up to the event, I asked my church community to post the information on the weekly announcement email that goes out, and I posted the information on my local community's social media site.
The day arrived. I rented a snow cone machine (because who doesn't love FREE snow cones on a hot summer night) and I had dog treats for the puppies that would come!
As you can tell, the three year old is not excited for this thing to start at all!
And the puppies came!
Big Dogs
Black dogs
Fluffy and
White dogs!
Oh my. (Doesn't this photo look like that is what she is saying?)
It was a dog party!!! All for this little one who loved giving all those dogs "puppy treats." (But let's be honest... I loved it just as much or more than she did.)
All because one little girl is a little bit older and a little bit more grown up. I am grateful for her. She truly is one of my miracles... but that will have to be a post for another time.
Love,
Maddie
